PPE waste from home healthcare workers

The Environment Agency has issued guidance on the disposal of PPE by healthcare workers treating patients with (or suspected) COVID-19 in their own homes.

This is a regulatory position statement which allows NHSE healthcare workers treating patients with (or suspected) COVID-19 in their own homes to dispose of PPE waste through the householder’s normal non-recyclable waste collection. You can read the guidance here.
